Matthew Ch 22: 9-10

9 So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’
10 So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, the bad as well as the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.

Vision
Call

Just as the invitation goes out in the Gospel parable in Matthew 22, so the call goes out from God’s Church in Ballykeel today. We want everyone to hear about Jesus Christ – the Son of God, crucified for sin, risen from the dead, alive today in Heaven. He calls with the giving of His Holy Spirit – His very presence in the Church – as we share the good news of forgiveness, grace and love to all people and all ages. If you meet a member of Ballykeel through the week at work, playing football or in the shop, they’ll invite you to come and hear!

Community

When we have faith in Jesus, we join His family. This is signposted by baptism and communion, two pictures which we practise to show how God joins us together with Him and with each other as we worship, under His Word, the Bible. We meet on Sunday to sing, hear the Word, pray and encourage one another. Visitors always say how friendly we are, not least over our cup of tea after 11am. But we long to be more. We long to be loving and strongly tied together as His community, on earth as it is in Heaven. So….

Commitment

We don’t just want to respond to Christ, we want to grow in commitment to Christ. This we do by sharing through the week: youth groups, men’s groups, women’s groups, midweek prayer and fellowship. We would love you to respond to God’s call, join His community here in Ballykeel and grow in commitment through faith in Christ. What will that look like? You’ll mature in spiritual growth with God and love of neighbour. And the Gospel will flourish as more and more people hear and see Christianity expand from Ballykeel into all the world!
